This issues still is not solved. The zips are still encrypted unwantedly with the password of the ftp connection.
When is this solved?

We downloaded the new version after this post, the version info now shows Ver8.0.5.5. The problem still persists. Do we have to do additional steps? We cannot access the backups: They are in the filesystem, produced by the Bestsync Service under the local System account, so there is no accessible pa...

I have exactly the same problem. I don't know yet, if the problem will vanish with the nenew version, my main problem at the moment is:

Cannot switsch off autostart
We created two jobs to run as a service. Then we switched off the automatic start when windows is started, but Bestsync still starts with windows.
Are the service jobs not run independently from the software?
We can't I switch off the autostart? Is there a manual way to switch it off in the registry?
