Hi Jean-Pierre,
I've installed BestSync 2013 (English Version Ver8.0.0.3, 32Bit) on three different Windows 7 Pro x64 machines. This was an upgrade for all three machines from v7.3.27.
Two out of the three machines seem to be working fine. However, BestSync is crashing on the third machine. See the three attachments for details.
I am able to avoid the crash on the third machine by turning off BestSync's backup option. On the first two machines, BestSync ran OK with the backup feature fully enabled.
Have I provided enough information for you to debug and fix this problem?
Regards, Jeff

Re: BestSync 2013 Crashing with Backups Turned On
Could you please export the task setting to a file and send it to risefly(a)risefly.com?
So we can debug it.

Re: BestSync 2013 Crashing with Backups Turned On
Jean-Pierre,
As you requested, I just emailed you the exported task. FYI, I carefully edited the exported task to remove passwords, username, and ftp server. I hope that doesn't cause a problem for your debugging. Let me know.
Also, while I've been working around the bug, I've repeatedly toggled the backup option on and off. I've noticed that whenever I enable or disabled the backup option (the top check-box on the Backup tab) BestSync "forgets" some of the other backup settings (i.e. the Backup Folder). Will you please enhance BestSync so that it will always remember all of the backup settings whenever the backup enable option is toggled? See the attachment.

Re: BestSync 2013 Crashing with Backups Turned On
I have the same problem using Version 8.0.0.7 (German & Ultimate Edition) on a Windows Server 2008 64bit system (without R2).
I only made a simple task: backup data without compression or anything else to my FTP-Server. After pressing the start button the job begins and crashes.
During configuring the task, the FTP Server test works fine - also if I use the preview.
The task works fine if I use a local folder <- perhaps this is useful!?
Could you please help me resolving this problem?

I found out something new:
Using SFTP works fine without any crashes.

Hello bellhawk,
I have tested this problem, but can not recreate the problem.
Could you please export the task setting to a file, and send it to risefly(a)risefly.com?
Thank you.
