Activation and Firewalls

Hi,

I want to install best sync on a machine behind a firewall - What internet access does bestsync need to activate a new license? Could you advise what IP address/Port to add to our firewall.

For activate the license, your PC needs internet access. If your PC can use Internet Explorer to access web page, then it is OK.
For setup the firewall, if the tasks are using FTP protocol, then you can refer to the following page for how to setup the firewall:

Can you confirm what destination IP address the activation request goes to and also what port is used (80, 443)?

The destine host name is risefly.com, and the port number is 80.
