Not Snyc updated file via ftp

Post by Ken-Prepress »

We are using the most current version 11.0.1.0. Copying file from ftp server to network storage every 10 minutes. If file is still coming in via ftp when file is copied to network storage. When file is complete Bestsync doesn't copy the file again. I will email you a screenshot and the task.

This issue depends on which FTP server you are using.
If the server does not support setting timestamp command (MFMT, UTIME, MDTM ) after uploading the file, and the FTP server does not support MLST command that can get the accurate time stamp of FTP file (LIST command can only get timestamp in minute resolution), then BestSync will use a time difference of 3 minutes to judge if the file in two side is same. From the log the time difference of file is less than 3 minutes, BestSync think the two files are same, so it will not synchronize it.
To resolve the problem, you should use a FTP server that support MLST command, and one of MFMT, UTIME, MDTM commands.
