License key mismatch

License key mismatch

Upgraded to 2016 from 2015, had a license installed from 2014. Purchased a new license and when tried to activate with new license got keycode mismatch error message.

When I use an upgraded license do I need to deactivate the original license first?

Just activate the new upgrade license.
