Is there a way to never have to restart a task manually again?

Post by PietCls »

We use Bestsync real-time synchronization between a local drive and an FTP for dozens of computers and would like to continue using it. However, we are facing the following issue: When we restart the computer without an active internet connection and Bestsync is in autostart, the task starts as planned (real-time sync) but then aborts and does not restart automatically. Is there a way to bypass this behavior so that the task theoretically never needs to be manually restarted?

The cause of the problem is that the task failed to connect to the FTP server after auto-started.
You can configure the "Delay" time in the "Schedule" tab of the task to wait for the internet ready.

In case there is no connection in the first few minutes. Is there a way to retry every few minutes?

I'm sorry that the current version does not have the retry function when the schedule mode is "real-time".
Maybe you can consider using the "Minutely" schedule to avoid the problem.

If the PC restarted and needs time to connect to the Internet, you can set the "Delay[XX] time" in the "Schedule" tab to wait for the internet to be available to avoid the problem.
