"Ignore file date&time changes that are because of Daylight Savings Time (DST))" ignores only 1 hour difference, But "31-12-1999-23:00:00 > 31-12-1999-00:00:00" is 23 hours difference. So BestSync will not ignore the difference. It should be "31-12-1999-23:00:00 > 1-1-2000-00:00:00" or "31-12-1999-23:00:00 > "31-12-1999-22:00:00". I think that your FTP does not support MDMT, MLSD etc commands that can get the accurate timestamp of files.

Is there a way to sync files only according to their names? This would be fine as this is only backup of files that are not changed when they have been uploaded.

I have now confirmed that the time on the synoilogy server is the same as on my client. It therefore seems strange that it would keep re-uploading the same files again and again? Once they have been copied one time they should have the same time - or am I missing something?

It seems that the FTP server does not support the commands to set the timestamp of the file.
BestSync has not an option to only compare the file name. You'd better to change the FTP server software or the service provider.

That very unfortunate, at it is a synology server end not mine.
Could you think of any other way to get around the problem?

I really dont understand why it worked perfectly before winter time - have you experienced others with problems with synology servers?

Now it works:
I have checked the option to only sync files changed after X days, and enteret 50 days. This solved my problem, and the files I have synced do not re-upload anymore (this also includes files that have just been uploaded which are not 50 days old!).
I don't get why this has solved my problem but it has.
