Dropbox Token not stored

i just bought a BestSync 2023 edition en have problems with Dropbox sync.
* When i use the Oauth option it opens a window and says "please install Microsoft Edge" -> but Edge is installed and the default browser
* When i use the other Oauth option and get a token on the Dropbox website, it works fine 1 time, but if i run it again (or as a service which i want) i get an 401 unauthorized.
How can i solve this? I need to sync Dropbox folders and files to this machine.

i also connected a BestSync 2017 version to the same Dropbox. That is also the only app that is visible in my Dropbox account as 'connected'. So the 2023 version isnt included in that overview

I have tested this issue, BestSync worked fine.
I have set up a new task, authenticate with DropBox by the manual login button.
Got the authentication code, paste it to the BestSync setting dialog box, and close it.
Completed the task setting wizard.
Exit BestSync App, then start the app again.
The dropBox task worked without a problem.
If you think that BestSync does not preserve the DropBox setting, you save the settings explicitly by the [File]/[Save] menu.

thanks - but the Save-option is grayed out once i confirm the edits... i presume the token is stored. Is there a way to check? Now i just wait for the next sync and see the 401 error next time i log onto the server.

The settings must have been saved,
You can start the preview of the task, at the bottom of the preview, there is a log view.
You can confirm if there is any error in the log view.

unfortunately i keep getting 401-errors. I tried:
- deleting and re-adding the task
- reinstalling BestSync
- oAuth options (both via link as manual)
I also see BestSync as connected and authenticated app in my Dropbox-account
I can oauth with Dropbox and do a succesful preview and run. Even after exiting the application and restarting.
But the scheduled run throws the 401 and after that i also need to re-authenticate with Dropbox... can i check under which user-account the service runs? maybe that could be the issue?
Any help and new pointers appreciated
PS. This is windows server 2019

Are you using an HTTP proxy to connect to the Internet?
If so, the BestSync Windows service account may not access your proxy settings.
You must set up a local user account in the BestSync service setting.
To configure the Windows service logon as a local user account
1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
2. Open the Administrative Tools.
3. Double-click Services.
The Services dialog opens.
4. Stop the "BestSync Service" if it is running.
5. Double-click the "BestSync Service" name.
The properties dialog for the agent service opens.
6. Click the Log On tab.
7. Select This account.
8. Specify the local user and password in the required fields.
9. Click OK.
10. Start "BestSync Service".
