Hi,

I'm testing Bestsync before buying and I would like to know if it's possible to decipher files (encrypted with bestsync) without Bestsync itself. I mean, I'm using Bestsync to store files on the cloud and I would like to use these files from my android tablet. You say files are AES 256 encrypted but i was not able to decipher any of them with other AES 256 crypt/decrypt tools. any clue about that ?

Because BestSync not only encrypt files but also compress the files, so BestSync uses a file format that only BestSync understand it.
On Windows system, you can download a free decrypt tool (http://www.risefly.com/BestSyncDecrypt.zip) to decrypt the files that are encrypted by BestSync. But we have not a tool on the android system now.
