Server 2003 / Samba problem

Hi , we recently trying to sync our file on linux samba from windows server 2003.
Here is the issue , we can have access to our linux samba though //ipandfolder/ on IE
But with the job established on Bestsync it won't start and described as drive is not ready.
We would like to know if anything on server 2003 needed to be turned on or any setting is needed to change on BestSync.
Will be really appreciate for the help.
