BestSync Result Succes, but file not on FTP

Hi,
We're use Bestsync 8.0.5.5 to sync files between our file server and ftp server (in DMZ).
Yesterday we received a complaint because a file wasn't send from the fileserver to the FTP server.
The logging of BestSync states that the file was transfered succesfully (see attached image).

However when I look into the log file of the ftp server, the following steps were taken:
1. Store the intermediate file on the ftp
2. check datetime changed
3. Delete a file with the same destination name (which fails, because no such file exists)
4. Rename from intermediate file
5. Delete intermediate file

Normally step 5 is a rename to command.
So my question is: how can I prevent this situation and how is it possible that Bestsync says it was successfull and deletes the file on tthe files server (source)?
