Log shows failure, files seem to have synced

Post by bbegy@spotlite.com »

My log shows the following:

,Ver9.0.6.2
Wednesday, October 1, 2014 15:55:13 [==>Success:2 Failed:2 Completed Size:16.76 MB]
Y:\Backup\ ==> s3:///[MY_S3_BUCKET]/iad/rdb/
Action,File,Time,Size,Result,Backup
Move 1-->2,\PDB-40914-01\RecordShop\LOG\PDB-40914-01_RecordShop_LOG_20141001_153001.trn, 10/1/2014 15:30:01,8525312,Success,Success
Move 1-->2,\PDB-40914-01\RecordShop\LOG\PDB-40914-01_RecordShop_LOG_20141001_154500.trn, 10/1/2014 15:45:00,9054720,Success,Success
Success,2
Failed,2
Completed Size,17580032

It looks like 2 files succeeded and 2 files failed. But which files failed?

You can start the log view of the task to see what files were failed, and what kind of error happened.

I am experiencing the same issue with one of my users. Job shows 3 successes, 3 failures. All files appear to have synched, and log view shows no more information than 3 successes, 3 failures. Is there a way to get a more verbose error log to see what triggered the failures? Running BestSync 2015 (10.1.0.3)

Thank you.

If real-time sync option is selected, BestSync just counts all the successful and failed results, and it does not clear the failed count when a file is successfully synchronized after retry.
