Synchronization Direction:
Specify the sync-direction of the synchronization task.
From "Folder1" to "Folder2":
Newer file in Folder1 will be copied to Folder2; Files deleted from Folder1 will be deleted from Folder2 (if the “delete” setting is set at later); Files created in Folder2 or updated in Folder2 will remain unchanged.
You can also select the mirroring mode later in the "Task Wizard: Delete" page. In mirroring mode, BestSync can also overwrite the target file if the target file is different from the source file, no matter the target file in newer or older than the source file.
From "Folder2" to "Folder1":
Newer file in Folder2 will be copied to Folder1; Files deleted from Folder2 will be deleted from Folder1 (if the “delete” setting is set at later); Files created in Folder1 or updated in Folder1 will remain unchanged.
Bi-direction sync between "Folder1" and "Folder2":
Newer file in Folder1 will be copied to Folder2; Files deleted from Folder1 will be deleted from Folder2 (if the “delete” setting is set at later);
Newer file in Folder2 will be copied to Folder1; Files deleted from Folder2 will be deleted from Folder1 (if the “delete” setting is set at later);.Also you can change the sync-direction temporally by the preview buttons in the toolbar.

TaskID is the unique ID of the task in the project file.
The TaskID can be used in the "Task Wizard: Application" setting page for run tasks after a task. The TaskID can also be used in the command line. You can run the task by Windows Task Scheduler or other software. If you want to start the task by your own schedule, you can specify following command line:
<Program File\RiseFly\>BestSyncSvc /sync:S(TaskId)
Start the task 1 and 2:
<Program File\RiseFly\>BestSyncSvc /sync:S(1),S(2)
For the details of the command line, please refer to this page.
Task Name:
The name of the task. If you want to display the task name in the task list of the main window. Please check the "Task Description: TaskID and name" in the "View" tab of the "General Option" that can be started by "Option"/"Option" menu.
Setup Hints
1. Support long file name up to 32768 characters.
BestSync will expand the folder name to "\\?\C:\folder" or "\\?\server\SharePath" format internally. But if the file system (such as Novell Net Drive) does not support long path, on the contrary, the expanded path shorten the path length that can be used. You can add "<Easy Name>?|" before the folder name, to force BestSync NOT to expand the folder path.
2. Add Date&Time string automatically to the folder name or ZIP file name.
Date& time fields are supported in the folder name or ZIP file name. For the format of the date & time string, please refer to this page.
